In a realm beyond your own, the kingdom of Libritannia and its neighboring lands are beset by turmoil - a complex web of intrigue, the looming specter of conflict, and occasional outbreaks of lawlessness. Furthermore, a disturbing phenomenon has been observed: divine beings from the heavens are plummeting to earth, only to become corrupted by some unknown force. In light of these extraordinary circumstances, this world sorely needs a champion. However, fate has seen fit to bestow this role upon someone other than you - your childhood companion, who, like yourself, has been inexplicably transported to this realm.
